Ganito kami sa Makati!
Maximize the sembreak freedom! One of my main agendas this break is to finally be a useful citizen of Makati who exercises her right to vote. Yeah, I really want to be involved in the upcoming 2013 human Lacoste elections.
10/19/12 - Solo flight mode to Makati Police Station. Start of gathering requirements and whatnot. I only have my Student I.D. and that ain’t enough to support that I’m indeed residing in Makati so my aunt suggested that I go and get a Police Clearance. The procedure was pretty fast. I just filled up a form indicating my personal information, paid for the service charges (P200), line up for the biometrics, and wait for my name to be called for the release of Police Clearance. The whole process took me only 30 minutes or so.
10/22/12 - 05:00am wake-up call. I arrived at the Makati Fire Station (where the Makati-COMELEC office is located) at around 06:00am, and the queue was already damn long. Goes to show how many Noypis love procrastinating, too. Here’s the cons of having hectic schedule over the past year and of course, the laziness that lingers around my system. I have to effin’ deal with it.
Well, the four hours of wait was worth it. Paid off well ‘cause I attained my goal. Hooray! I can’t help but smile when I already finished all the procedures and got my acknowledgement receipt. Woohoo! Botante na ‘ko! At last!
